Dr. Gerard J. Dynes performed his undergraduate studies at Manhattan College in New York and earned his M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine in 1994. His medical training continued with his medical residency in Neurology being completed in 1998 at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. In 1999, he earned a fellowship in Electromyography (EMG) and neuromuscular disorders at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. That same year Dr. Gerard Dynes joined The Baton Rouge Clinic and, with his wife and children, made Baton Rouge their home. He is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Gerard J. Dynes is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. His professional interests include the prevention and treatment of Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and the management of spasticity, including the use of Intrathecal Baclofen pumps.

More than a decade of helping patients followed Dr. Brian Murphy's college and medical education, giving him a broad range of experience on top of his extensive medical training. Dr. Murphy earned his B.S. from the University of New Orleans in 1993 and his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1997. His medical residency in Neurology was performed at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and was completed in 2001. Dr. Brian P. Murphy continued his training, earning a fellowship in Movement Disorders in 2002 and in Clinical Neurophysiology in 2004, before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic in 2004. Dr. Murphy is board certified by the American Academy of Neurology and is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana. He is married with two children to Dr. Courtney Murphy, a dermatologist also with The Baton Rouge Clinic. In his private time, Dr. Murphy enjoys family time, golfing and is a big LSU Football fan.

Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, Dr. Pedro S. Oliveira earned his B.S. in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge before attending Ross University School of Medicine, where he earned his M.D. in 2011. Dr. Oliveira then traveled to Milwaukee, WI to perform a Neurology Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. After completing his Residency in 2015, Pedro S. Oliveira earned a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Oliveira joined The Baton Rouge Clinic's Neurology Department in the summer of 2016. Dr. Oliveira is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, and is Board-Certified in Neurology and Epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is licensed in the state of Louisiana.
