Matthew H. Bertke, MD, is a radiation oncologist who specializes in lung cancer, breast cancer, head and neck cancers, prostate cancer, and metastatic lesions. His areas of special interest include stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for lung, bone, liver, and adrenal lesions. Dr. Bertke also specializes in respiratory and organ motion management and tumor tracking techniques. In addition to his expertise in radiation therapy, Dr. Bertke believes it is crucial to treat every patient with respect and compassion. Each patient's situation is unique, and it is important to take a collaborative approach to creating an individualized treatment plan that is also built on a solid foundation of scientific knowledge and clinical expertise. Dr. Gubbi began his medical career as an obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN). While in New York, he met gynecologic oncologists at Good Samaritan Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering. After being exposed to gynecologic oncology, he developed a passion for a new level of patient care as a gynecologic oncologist.
