Ethnographic Justice Counseling (EJ-C) is a tool for personal & professional change for the discriminating client. Individual appts serve as supplements to mandatory court orders, as aftercare or relapse prevention, or as your stand-alone modality of choice. Whether you need to work on specific goals or simply maintain an ongoing connection about life issues with someone who cares, EJ-C is here for you. Helen M. is a registered psychotherapist with the State of Colorado and an addictions counselor; K12 substitute teacher; certified online instructor currently teaching college statistics; advisor for International adolescents; with MA in psychology, grad certificate in adult education, doc study in statistics & research, & lengthy background in information mgmt. She is working toward LAC and LPC certs. EJ-C uses both evidence-based and Faith-based approaches to personal & professional change. When people learn & grow, they also participate in the ongoing testing and measurement of their knowledge levels & skills. They renew an interpersonal relationship with Christ within a larger Faith community. EJ-C is not an authorized treatment provider for court-ordered DUI, DV, or SO education & therapy at this time. We cannot bill Medicaid, TRICOR, or other insurance agencies directly. EJ-C holds the philosophy of Total Communication, e.g., whatever it takes. We currently have open appts in-house on Tuesdays.
