Chesapeake Urology's Salisbury clinic offers a range of services from routine check-ups and preventive care to the diagnosis and treatment of complex urological conditions.

Angela Jefferson, CRNP-F, CUNP, is a urology-certified family nurse practitioner at Chesapeake Urology. Angela works with patients in Chesapeake Urology's Salisbury, Berlin, and Seaford offices and specializes in the care of patients with incontinence conditions. Angela has been a practicing urology nurse practitioner since 2007, most recently working with patients at Peninsula Urology Associates, now Chesapeake Urology, in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic conditions. In this role, she also served as an incontinence specialist and has experience in providing urodynamic studies for the diagnosis of bladder conditions.

Gracely, MD, is a urologist who is fellowship-trained in Urogynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). Dr. Gracely, who joined Chesapeake Urology in July 2021, specializes in pelvic reconstructive surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of urogenital conditions in both women and men.

Dr. Edney has been a urologist with Peninsula Urology, now Chesapeake Urology, since 2004. His clinical interests are in laparoscopic and robotic surgery including robotic prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, and laparoscopic nephrectomy and renal cryotherapy. He also sees adult and pediatric patients with a full range of general urologic problems.

Nettie H. Widgeon, CRNP is a family nurse practitioner at Chesapeake Urology's Berlin, and Salisbury offices. Her specialty is in general urology including the treatment of ED, BPH, incontinence, chronic UTI's, and catheter placement and care. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD and her Graduate Program in Family Nurse Practitioner from Wilmington University in New Castle, DE.

Dr. Jason Smith is a urologist with a particular interest in treatments for BPH, Stone Disease, Erectile Dysfunction, Urinary Incontinence, Urologic Cancers, and Peyronie's Disease. He also specializes in Urolift, Bipolar TURP and iTIND for BPH, Botox and Sacral Neuromodulation for incontinence, Stone treatments, and Xiaflex for Peyronie's Disease.

Dr. Shimko joined Peninsula Urology, now Chesapeake Urology, in 2012 after completing his urology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He also served as an associate staff member and instructor in urology at the Mayo Clinic. His clinical interests include endourology/stone disease, robotic prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic pyeloplasty, and robotic female reconstructive surgery. He also sees adult and pediatric patients with a full range of general urologic problems.

Melissa Kestler is a certified nurse practitioner and doctor of nursing practice in Chesapeake Urology's Salisbury office and also sees urology patients at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Melissa performs assessments and diagnoses and treatment of patients in the hospital and ER, and sees inpatient/ER consultations, manages post-operative patients, and performs admissions and discharges. Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Melissa served as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Laurel Family Practice, Tidal Health, serving an underserved population in Laurel, DE for all primary care needs.
